About Us

HKU FinTech and Blockchain Laboratory was established in 2020. The Laboratory focuses on solving real-world industry problems using FinTech and blockchain technologies. It is a hub for research, education, and collaboration with industry partners to develop breakthrough innovations. The lab’s research covers board areas in fintech, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, with expertise in applied cryptography, cryptocurrencies, privacy-preserving technology, consensus, forensics and digital investigations, system and software security.
